•Hazing Policy (p. 22)
The purpose of this policy Is to maintain a safe learning environment.
Hazing is harassing,humiliating, or abusing someone as a way of initiating them into a student organization. ANYONE (teachers, principals, students, volunteers, etc.) who participates in or tolerates hazing is subject to disciplinary action. Reporting Procedures (p. 23)Report hazing immediately to a trusted adult. Grades or assignments cannot be impacted by reporting hazing. School District Action (p. 23)The school district will investigate all reports of hazing and will take appropriate disciplinary action if necessary. Reprisal (p. 24)The school district will discipline anyone who seeks revenge against someone who reports a violation of the policy.
