BRIEF SUMMARY REPORT ON TEQIP EVENT HELD ON 8 Oct 2014 Title of Event:
Brainstorming Workshop on Development of Processes and Devices for Bio-Medical applications.

Participants:
Over 30 participants from Technical Institutions in the North East including Heads of Institutions participated in the
Workshop. A number of Entrepreneurs, medical doctors and other experts were from abroad were invited to the
discussion and brain storming session.
Focus of the TEQIP Event : The theme was to examine in depth industry-academia collaborations to enhance
entrepreneurship development,
innovation and technology commercialization in the North East (NE) via initiating new courses of study that are predominantly
multidisciplinary.
