Renovations in the Baby Classroom and Washroom
The recent renovations have greatly upgraded the standard
of the baby classroom and baby washroom. As a result of the
improvements, the babies now can receive the best care
possible.
A new window allows for easy viewing into the washroom. The diaper change area is now located
beneath the new window in accordance with regulations. New classroom sinks allow for better
hygienic and convenient conditions.
New wall units in the washrooms have created much
needed storage space. Baby supplies are now kept in
an attractive and well organized manner.

Renovations in the Toddler Class Classroom and Washroom
The recent renovations have greatly upgraded the standard
of the toddler classroom and adjoining washroom. As a
result of the improvements, toddlers now enjoy modern and
safer conditions.
A new window allows for easy viewing and supervision of toddlers in the washroom. 2 new
classroom sinks, allow for better hygienic and convenient conditions. Staff and children have easy
access to the new sinks, and use them daily for washing up after meals, art projects and outdoor
activities.
New storage units in the washroom are attractive and
practical and have created much needed storage space.
Toddlers change of clothing and other needs are now
kept in an attractive and well organized manner.

Renovations in the Nursery Classroom and Washroom
The recent renovations are a great improvement in the
nursery classroom and adjoining washroom. The children in
this class represent the oldest age group in the DCC. This new
modern environment supports them in developing a greater
sense of independence.
Children can now take pride in their beautiful home away from
home environment at the WIZO Ken Hashalom Mary Bendet
Foundation Day Care Centre in Beer Sheva.

Upgrades in the Baby Playground
The baby playground’s old worn out rubber flooring has been replaced with soft and colourful
synthetic grass, a surface which is now being used in Israel to ensure safe and hygienic
conditions for outdoor play.
