Children’s Welcome Center Guru’s are needed!
One of the most important things we need to do as a church is to welcome people! We have a great Children’s welcome center but it needs to be staffed between services with trained people to help with our new check-in system that will be rolling out soon. We also need leaders to help oversee classrooms on Sunday mornings during service. Please let Stacy know if you would be willing to welcome new families to Chaparral or help oversee one of our service for kids.
Sedona Camp was AWESOME!
Thank you to our camp leaders and kids who made camp such an awesome experience. We are a little tired but excited about God’s love for us! Thanks to all of you who made it possible through donations of food, money, time and prayer!
VBS is one week away!
Make sure your kids are registered for VBS Now! They won’t want to miss this awesome prayer safari! Sign up today!
Thank you! Thanks to everyone who made our Sr. High
and our Jr. High summer camps a great learning experience as well as an all-around
great time. Our leaders and !nancial supporters made it all possible!
Students, their parents and VBS volunteers are invited to join the Youth Ministry for an afternoon at Sunsplash Waterpark, on
7/13 from 1:15-7:15. Meet in the Commons at 1pm. Cost is $20. For more info or to sign up, please see Jennifer Rice.

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE
Thank you Father for your Son who paid the price for our freedom from sin.
Thanks to our military men and women for being part of making and keeping our Country free!
• We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in which you can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear from everyone!
• Communion/Lord’s Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while it is in front of them before passing it along.
• Offering In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving as you are led.
• Nursery We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions
We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad you are here today!
