Sunny Days Christian Preschool
November Newsletter
Kindness Room
It’s November! A time to be thankful for so many things like the amazing crisp cool weather, great memories made at family gatherings and of course your awesome kids. I am truly blessed and thankful that I get the opportunity to teach your children everyday. Our class has learnt all the vowels from the short to the long sounds, 1 vowel rule, what a blend is and how adding an ending sound to a blend helps you read a word. My favorite part is when students starts putting it all together to read words!!! We will be learning a lot more consonants like; D, G, R and F through the school year. The children have been learning con-cepts and recognition of numbers 1-8. We have been counting 1-30, leaning what a number house is and who the father of each number house is as well. The children have been counting down our school days by 10’s. When we reach 100 days of school our class will have a 100th day celebration. The week before we get out for thanksgiving break, you will receive a progress report . I am always happy to discuss your child’s progress at any
point in the school year. Feel free to schedule a parent-teacher confer-ence with me. Have a thankful November. Blessings, Mrs. Sheila Cross
