Central govt. may appoint officer with requisite designation to look after the Protection of Environment.
Officers shall be the subject to govt. control and its direction.

Civil court cannot entertain suit against Central Govt.
If industries does not agree with directions,
it can file objections in a prescribed format

All Industries to abide by the standards of emissions and discharges as Prescribed
Central Pollution or state Pollution Board can only make more stringent rules
Any newly introduced standard/rule /direction are to be compiled within a year of their introduction into rules, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Any industry who qualifies to have consent under the Air, Water act or authorization under hazardous wastes rules is required to submit Annual Environmental statement before 30th September each year.

If it exceeds the limit tertiary treatment should be involved to remove these chemicals
