Global Employability University Survey & Ranking by Emerging
• The market point of view: based exclusively on recruiters’ opinions on Higher Education worldwide, the results of both the survey and ranking are complementary of other declarative rankings on academic achievements and research.
• The polling is done by an independent research agency, Trendence, commissioned by Emerging. The 10th edition research phase took place from May to July 2020, via an online survey with personalized links.
• 9,000 recruiters from more than 22 countries voted to rate the employability performance of 6,000 international institutions.
• The survey provides unique data and insights as to the strategies that could be put in place to meet the challenges of future training, and what are the main indicators of employability are.
• The worldwide ranking gives a picture of the decisive factors - the drivers - behind the recruiters’ choice of best universities.

Respondents from 22 countries, only 28% deal solely with local graduates.

The ranking was established with the votes of 8,820 respondents:
• Those who recruit internationally (72%) out of the survey panel• A panel of 6,600 managing directors of international companies (> 1,000 employees)

• 8,820 international recruiters answered the question:“As a person dealing with international graduates, which universities are in your opinion the best in the world when it comes to graduate employability?”
• Each respondent selected 15 to 20 universities among the current global employability ranking list.
• They could ad names from the database of 6,000 institutions worldwide.
• The total of votes amounted 108,255.
• The universities are ranked by number of votes obtained.
• Each university was given a score depending on its ranking position.
• The higher the university in the ranking, the higher the number of points.
• The country score was obtained by adding the points of all country’s universities present in the ranking in the given year.
