&Group RoomsSession Aim & Process
This activity gives the participants the chance to communicate their research to others who may be less familiar with their area, field or discipline. It then challenges them not only to understand others work, but also to consider how they might collaborate in the future on a genuine research project that would combine their skills and professional research interests. At a higher level, it allows them to explore the prospect of collaborating with people they might not otherwise consider working with. All of this takes place within the context of developing and presenting a proposal for a piece of interdisciplinary research.
