He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them as their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, for the old order has passed away." The One who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things

SPONSOR OF THE WEEKWe wish to thank myPARISH APP
for sponsoring an ad in our weekly bulletin.
SPIRITUAL BOOK GROUP THIS WEEK May is the month of Mary, and
what better book to read than Word by Word—Slowing Down with the
Hail Mary. Editor Sarah Reinhard asked for reflections about individual
words of this prayer from forty popular Catholic men and women writers.
Discussion is Tuesday, May 21, at 7 pm. Contact email for the group:
PRAY ALWAYS Did you know you could join our Prayer Ministry to pray for
specific needs of parishioners—and their friends and loved ones—right
where you are, whenever you can! Send a note to [email protected] and
asked to be added to the Prayers email list! This list is only for those who
wish to be added to what is called in some churches a “prayer chain.” But we
know it’s actually a ministry! (This list is not used for any other purpose.)
TIME TO GET CLEARANCES! Our nursery is closed for the summer, but
we’re already looking ahead to fall, when CCD starts again! Won’t you
consider becoming a volunteer at least once a month during the
9 o’clock Mass? Yes? OK then! Please contact Patty Wargo,
[email protected], or Tracy Kovaleski, [email protected]. They can
help you with the Youth Protection clearance you’ll need.
NOT THAT FAR AWAY … We have three areas reserved for tent camping
for our parish at Pine Grove Furnace State Park from June 7 to 9. We're
planning activities and one large communal dinner on Saturday night. If
you’re tent-camping, please let us know you’re coming! If you have a camper
instead of a tent, you'll need to make your own reservation in one of the
areas that can accommodate campers. Find information and online
reservation for campers at links.steas.net/StEASFamilyCampout
BUYING FLOWERS FOR MEMORIAL DAY? That would be a good time to
pick up an extra red geranium or two to nurture for Pentecost! On
Pentecost, our parish has a great tradition of wearing red and bringing red
geraniums for the altar. Afterwards, we plant the geraniums outside to
enjoy and beautify our grounds and neighborhood! The local nurseries tell
us many geraniums are purchased for Memorial Day, so you might want to
get your Pentecost geraniums at the same time, give them TLC for a couple
of weeks, then bring in to church any time after Tuesday, June 4, in time for
Pentecost on June 9.
DROP OFF BABY BOTTLES UNTIL FATHER’S DAY And if you’d like to do
more—Sizes 4 & 5 & 6 Diapers; Baby Wipes & Baby Wash & Diaper Cream;
One-piece Sleepers (All sizes, Newborn through 3T); Girls (0-3 months)
Summer Items (onesies, sleepers, outfits, coats); Boys (12-month) Summer
Items (onesies, sleepers, outfits, coats); Similac Formula (Advanced and
Sensitive); NEW Pack N Plays, NEW Car Seats, NEW Strollers. Thanks!
PARISH MISSION PROJECT NEXT WEEKEND Saint Francis of Assisi Parish
does so much good in its community, shining the light of Christ. This is our
opportunity to be blessed by participating in their ministries. Put you
