In this paper, we document eight additional new islandrecordsandprovideanomenclaturalcorrectionforamphib-iansandreptilesonGreatAbacoanditssatelliteislands. Our records are the first for Hemidactylus mabouia,Trachemys scripta elegans, andT. terrapen fromtheLittleBahamasBank,althoughtheseandallotherspeciesmen-tionedareknownfromotherislandsintheBahamas.
Great Abaco Island.—On 6 November 2012, KLK,DWS, JIM, and SLS collected two Tropical HouseGeckos,Hemidactylus mabouia (MoreaudeJonnès1818)(UF-Herpetology 168826 and 168830), at Friends oftheEnvironment, 1ConservationWay,MarshHarbour(26.53154°N, 77.05847°W; Datum WGS84). On 7November2012,KLK,DWS,JIM,andSLScollectedfourH. mabouia(UF-Herpetology168846–168849)atCherokeeSound(26.28418°N,77.05377°W),andoneH. mabouia(UF-Herpetology168844)atLittleHarbour(26.32356°N,77.00368°W).On11November2012,KLK,DWS,JIM,andSLScollectedanon-nativeRed-earedSlider,Trachemys scripta elegans (Wied-Neuwied 1838)(UF-Herpetology168894;Fig. 1), and apresumablynon-native Jamaican
Slider, T. terrapen (Bonnaterre 1789)(UF-Herpetology168893; Fig. 2), at Owanta’s Pond, Marsh Harbour(26.52365°N,77.06645°W).
Elbow Cay.—On15October2010,OliviaPattersoncol-lectedapresumablynativeBrownBlindSnake,Typhlops lum-bricalis(Linnaeus1758)(UF-Herpetology169218),inHopeTown(26.52745°N,76.96507°W).
Man-O-War Cay.—On11November2012,NAAcollectedfournativeCubanTreefrogtadpoles,Osteopilus septentriona-lis (DumérilandBibron1841)(UF-Herpetology169068),andanativeNorthernCurly-tailedLizard,Leiocephalus cari-natusGray1827(UF-Herpetology169220),onBallFieldRoad(26.59733°N,77.0034°W).On9and11November2012,KLK,NAA, andCAMK, collected three andoneHemidactylus mabouia(UF-Herpetology168871–168873,and169219,respectively)onBallFieldRoad(26.59733°N,77.0034°W).On8August2006,MamieAlburycollectedapresumablynativeBrownBlindsnake,Typhlops lumbricalis (UF-Herpetology156842),onBallFieldRoad(26.59733°N,77.0034°W).
