Announcements
Church Business MeetingThe church business meeting will take place this morning after the service in the church auditorium and will replace the Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) hour.
Choir VolunteersPlease see Pastor Dave Stertzbach ([email protected]) if you are interested in singing with the congregation from the choir loft. While this is not our regular choir, it will add to the worship service. Later, once our normal choir begins, you can decide if you want to continue.
Welcome the Endean and Davis Families! On June 21-27, TBC will join International Baptist College and Seminary (IBCS) in “pounding” the Dr. Kristopher Endean family. This will be a great way to welcome Dr. Kristopher Endean as the new Dean of Students at IBCS. IBCS will also plan to “pound” the Dr. Peter Davis family when they arrive after July 3. For more information, contact Pastor Jeff (jeff [email protected]).

Further Study
Psalm 78:1-4In what ways do these verses emphasize the importance of passing on “the faith”? Where had the psalmist learned the truth? How does Proverbs 1:5-7 help you understand the responsibility to train others? What attributes of the Lord are to be shared? What are some ways the Lord has revealed His “wonderful works” in your life?
Psalm 78:5-8What is the stated goal for teaching the next generation? What outcomes can be anticipated when people “set their hope in God”? What similar ideas are expressed in 2 Timothy 2:2?
Psalm 78:9-55Look over these verses. What is the failure of the men of Ephraim? What are some of the specifi c displays of God’s power mentioned? How did Israel sin and provoke the Lord? What lessons can you learn from the failures of Israel?
Psalm 78:56-72How does God respond to Israel’s rebellion? The psalm concludes with David’s reign. What is signifi cant about how and why God chose David? What are some practical steps you are taking to live “with integrity of heart”?
