LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Objective: The students will match a phrase with which character’s VOICE it belongs to. This will help them to understand how they can use voice in their writing.
State Core Tie: 3rd Grade Language Arts:
Standard 8 Objective 2(b): Use voice to fit the purpose and audience.

Went well: Students were
excited to participate
They were able to select the correct answer almost always and provide a reason WHY it was correct
Could have been better:
Students often got distracted when standing in the back of the group in the corner. I needed to set more specific behavior expectations and stick to them.
