The Colosseum is in Rome, Italy whereas the Kreminis in Moscow in the former Soviet Union. The Colosseum is obviousy much oder than the Kremin - it wasbuilt in 80 A.O while the Kremlin was buit far morerecenty. The Coosseum was used as an arena forgadiators whereas the Kremlin houses Russia's centra government offices. The two constructions are alsovery different in terms of shape; the Colosseum is acircular amphitheatre made up of rows of arches whilethe Kremlin has many minaret-shaped towers and issurrounded by high walls. n terms of building materias the Kremlin was built using redcoloured bricksand the Coosseum using arge stone blocks.

A departent store empoys many people to servetheir vast range of customers, whereas corner shops, often owned and run by the same person, aim to servethe local community. Because of this, corner shops aregeneraly smal, stocking a very imited range of goods, such as basic food products and some househoditems like washing powder. Department stores, on theother hand, can normaly provide their customers witheverything they need from cothes to eectrical itemsand food Department stores therefore have to belarge, oten covering 6 or 7 floors and centrally ocatedto attract as many customers as possible
Another difference between the two types of shop
is the prices they charge for simiar goods. As department stores can buy stock cheapy in bulk, they canoffer more competitive prices than corner shops whichare forced to charge higher prices
In my opinion, corner shops offer friendlier servicethan mpersona department stores, and, as theynormaly have very ong opening hours - even tradingon Sundays, they can aso hep you in emergencieswhen you run out of something.

A campsite is for people who like the outdoor life andon't mind putting up with a bit of discomfort. Hote
on the other hand, offer lots of luxuries. Staying acampsite is not as expensive staying in a hotHowever one needs to have special equipment to gcamping Another disadvantage of staying in a cam
site is that you have to make do with basic facilitsuch as shared toilets and showers This has a positaspect, though since you get to know other campand make new friends. On the contrary, in a hote there is very little chance of meeting the other gueunless you make an effort to do so, etc

The first picture is of a castle, while the second
picture is of some high-rise blocks of flats in a city. A flat would have the advantages of being close to thecity centre, near public transport, and it would be fitted with modern conveniences. However, you wouldnot have a garden, and there would be a lack of privacy. It might also be very noisy and stressful
Living in a castle would be nice Because it wouldbe in the countryside, the lifestyle would be relaxed, and the air would be much fresher than in the city Acastle would probably also have picturesque grounds. The disadvantages of living in a castle are that it mightbe lonel and isolated A castle is rather cold, damp, and expensive to maintain. It could also be haunted!

Technology s a good thing, but it has brought with ita lot of problems. For example a lot of plastics becometoxc waste when they are thrown away n addition, itcosts a lot of money to recycle high-tech waste, whichputs a lot of companies of doing t. To make matters
worse, when plastcs such as those used in computercasings are burnt, they produce doxins which aretoxic These plastcs are almost impossible to recycleas well There are solutions to these problems, such asusng less plastic in the construction of hgh-techitems Manufacturers should maintain responsibilityfor their products and take them back to be recycledIn addition, we should try to make sure that theproducts we buy are environmentally friedly andrecyclable

Although people living in the city lead a hectic lifestyle,it is easy to find a job. Unfortunately there is not muchvariety of jobs in the country The crime rate in the cityis high compared to that of the country Public trans-
port in the country is rather poor compared to thecity. There are lots of schools and hospitals in the city.In contrast there are few schools and hospitals in thecountry. Life in the country is rather monotonouscompared to stressful city life, etc
A lot of young people are leaving their villages
beause they cannot find jobs, so the government should try to encourage new businessesto set up branches in areas outside towns andcities ,and a lot of young people are leaving simply
because there's nothing for them to do wherethey live. To stop this, leisure centres cinemasetc need to be built in rural areas
Another reason is the fact that there arentenough medical facilities in remote
areasHospitals and clinics need to be
built so that people dont have to come to townsand cities for treatment etc
