Community Partner Program Update• The CPP has grown from 36 initial pilot sites to a robust
statewide network since the initiative began in 2012.
• With over 1,300 community partner sites, the program is shifting its focus from recruitment to a more comprehensive model that includes development, support, and retention initiatives.

Community Partner Support Update• On August 31, 2016, HHSC's contract with the Texas
Hunger Initiative expired.
• HHSC signed a contract with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife) to provide regional support services for Community Partners.
• HHSC Regional Community Relations (RCR) staff became the first point of contact for Community Partners on September 1, 2016.

Community Partner Support UpdateDuring the transition to AgriLife, HHSC Regional Community Relations (RCR) staff located throughout the state will:
