PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS—The Grace & Mercy

whelming response. We have plenty of bags for the
time being. Please do not bring any more bags until
further notice.
Russ is a Native American, from the Tlingit and
Haida tribes of Alaska. He is a Warrior-in-Training
with CHIEF Ministries while he works online
toward attaining a Bachelor of Theology degree
from Tyndale Theological Seminary. The mission of
CHIEF is to come alongside the leadership of the
church to encourage them and establish them in
God’s Word so they will capably lead and teach
their own people. In keeping with this, the last
six years, Russ and Elvie have been working in
northern Arizona on the Hopi Reservation at
Kykotsmovi Mennonite Church. The church is
about four-and-one-half hours north of Phoenix.
Russ has been teaching the Word of God on the
last Sunday of each month.
We praise God for your partnership in doing His
great work. Thank you, as well, for the kind words
of encouragement to our family as we work together
to bring glory to our great God.
Pray for the Hopi Nation that there would be a
yearning to know the Word of God.
Pray for us on the last Sunday of the month that
God would give us wisdom in encouraging and
teaching these brothers and sisters in Christ, and for
strength and quick recovery of Russ’ back and
shoulders from the long drives up north.
