“The Task Unfinished” by Keith and Kristyn Getty, is a rewrite of an old hymn entitled “Facing a Task Unfinished”. Sunday, June 3 we're going to be singing this hymn that has lyrics which may be new to you; but the melody will be familiar. We will also be sending out our Russia Mission Team and the Nicaragua Team will be departing 10 days later. The song found below, "The Task Unfinished," will be appropriate as we launch these teams in the coming weeks. We wanted you to have these lyrics before-hand to help familiarize you with this hymn. We would encourage you to read though the lyrics and use them in your personal prayer.

VERSE 1
“Facing a task unfinished That drives us to our knees A need that, undiminished Rebukes our slothful ease We, who rejoice to know Thee Renew before Thy throne The solemn pledge we owe Thee To go and make Thee known
CHORUS We go to all the world His kingdom hope unfurled No other name has power to save But Jesus Christ The Lord”
VERSE 2
Where other lords beside Thee Hold their unhindered sway Where forces that defied Thee Defy Thee still today With none to heed their crying For life, and love, and light Unnumbered souls are dying And pass into the night
CHORUS
VERSE 3 We bear the torch that flaming Fell from the hands of those Who gave their lives proclaiming That Jesus died and rose Ours is the same commission The same glad message ours Fired by the same ambition To Thee we yield our powers CHORUS
VERSE 4 O Father who sustained them O Spirit who inspired Saviour, whose love constrained them To toil with zeal untired From cowardice defend us From lethargy awake! Forth on Thine errands send us To labour for Thy sake
CHORUS

My name is Drew Stamey, and I’m so excited to be a part of the Bethany mission trip to Nicaragua! Last year I spent 3 months in Nicaragua, and God taught me so much there. I fell in love with the people of Nicaragua and was inspired by the missionaries
there. Now I feel so blessed to be able to return with a team from Bethany. On this mission trip I want to get way out of my comfort zone and show love in every way I can. Please pray that our whole team will listen for God’s leading as we prepare for this experience. Thank you so much for all your support, church family.
Testimonies from Our Mission Team Volunteers
God continues to draw people from every nation to Himself, and I am excited to be a part of that work as a messenger sent from Bethany! It is a blessing to return to Russia and to lead others to minister there. I look forward to seeing how God will work among the Russians, through
the lives of our volunteers, and in the church fam-ily as a whole. When I think about Jesus still seeking the lost like a good shepherd, I think of so many people groups and individuals who have still not responded to His voice. But God IS still calling, and this trip is going to provide opportu-nities for relational evangelism and faith sharing. Thank you, Bethany, for being a “sending” church and for being a “praying” church!
The Nicaragua Team is in need of a few things for the trip. If you are able to donate any of the following, please see Drew or Lori Stamey. Photo Printer - Used, but in good working con-dition. Used Smart Phones - IPhone 4 or newer in good condition. Must be unblocked. Nail Polish - Can be used or new Ball Pumps - Can be used or new (only need 2)
We are planning one more session
to complete shorts for the Nicara-
gua mission trip. Also we need
pressers to prepare the 50 plus
sundresses that have been made. Your last
chance to be part of the fun will be Thursday
night, July 7th from 6-9 PM. If you are mak-
ing shorts at home or sundresses, we must
have them back no later than July 10th.
