Igneous To Sedimentary
The Process of igneous rocks turning to sedimentary rocks is
1st the igneous rock goes through weathering, then erosion, and then deposition
2nd the rock becomes sediments
3rd compaction occurs then cementation
And then WABAM you have a Sedimentary rock

Sedimentary To Metamorphic
In order for sedimentary rock to change into metamorphic rock many changes need to take place.
This requires:
High Temperatures
Great Pressure
Sometimes a chemical reaction needs to take place too.

Metamorphic to Igneous
A metamorphic rock can change into a igneous rock in 4 simple steps.
First the rock melts due to great heat and pressure.
Next the rock becomes molten rock. Also known as magma.
After that the rock cools and hardens and Ta Da! An igneous rock.

Rock Cycle Demonstrated in Arches Natl. Park
This is one of the many arches in the park.
This rock formation is sedimentary rock that has been changed by weathering and erosion.

Rock Cycle in Arches cont.
This is a picture of the Three Gossips.
This was formed by sedimentary rock eroding into a strange shape.

Demonstration of the Rock Cycle in Arches
This Is the tower of Babel
It is a Metamorphic rock it was formed by heat and pressure from and igneous rock
Later it was Changed by erosion to create this shape

Rock Cycle in Arches cont.
The Double Arch
This unique arch was formed by weathering, erosion and deposition.
It is a sedimentary rock that has been forming for over thousand of years.
