NORTHERN SECTION – BRASIL
INTERVENTION: Construction of the North Section of the
Mario Covas Beltway of the City of São Paulo
OBJECTIVE: Improve access to major international
connection points; redistribute freight and passenger
traffic to and from other regions; and decentralize
logistics activities.
ESTIMATED COST: US$3.01 billion

RAILROAD GRAL ROCA IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM - CONSTITUCIÓN
- LA PLATA LINE
INTERVENTION: Renovation and electrification of the
passenger rail service on the Plaza Constitución–La Plata
branch line (52.6 km) of the General Roca Railroad. The
project’s specific objective is to help reduce travel times and
accident rates, and improve the reliability and comfort of the
service.
OBJECTIVE: the Conditional Credit Line for Investment
Projects (CCLIP) objective, is to support the recovery of the
metropolitan railroads, contributing to the improvement of
public transportation services in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan
Region.
ESTIMATED COST: US$500 million
