The International Council on Adult Immunization (ICAI)
The world’s population is growing older and we must be prepared
The opportunity
Adult vaccine preventable disease has significant medical, social and economic impact, but the full value of immunization is not well articulated or leveraged as part of a comprehensive life course approach
Need a coordinated approach to policy and implementation with multiple sectors at a global and national level
Given the demographic shift and strengthening needed at a health systems level, there is an urgency to act now!
Adult immunization intersects with many existing priorities
