A Note From Our Pastor
As Rodger transitions to serving FBC Allen, as their Associate Pastor and Administrator, we are beginning a search for the person to serve in that role here. We aren’t attempting to replace Rodger; that would be difficult to do because of all he has meant to our church the past 14 years. However, we believe that God will lead us to the right person to serve here now, and that person will have an equally significant role in the life of our church moving forward. Please pray for the Personnel Committee, and if you have a suggestion for someone to consider, feel free to contact the church office or John Weber, Chairperson of the Personnel Committee. As summer approaches, many of us are making plans to travel, students will be attending camps, and there will be extra events and activities because of the extended summer daylight and multiple three day weekends. In the midst of your summer plans, please make church engagement a priority. Make an effort to participate in Bible study and worship together this summer. Get involved in some of the summer opportunities to serve, such as the new apartment ministry at Sunny Glen. And, remember to practice good stewardship on the path to generosity, even when summer plans cause an irregular schedule. I hope to see you at the deacon - sponsored pancake breakfast on June 11, followed by a combined worship service. In Christ,
