mon Valley, which can now be seen athis office. These things are the petrifiedremains of animals or reptiles that wereliving and breathing ages before the footof aaan ever pressed the earth's greensod. We would like to give the namesof some of those specimens but freelyown that we don't know enough to doso. Mr. Kaley is something of a geolo-

gist, and takes pride and pleasure in bemaking collections. Any one findingany fossils will do well to bring them tohis office where he will be glad to label ofand put on exhibition.

Mr. S. S. Wells has the largest gar-

den in the county, consisting of thirteenacres, entirely devoted to market garden-ing. He takes from two to four loadsof produce to the railroad each week.

Mr. Hoffman is just opening up astock ofdry goods and groceries at Wells.This will be a great convenience to thecitizens ?f Harmony.

mony, and that by actual settlers, butsomo of the best land in the county can

bought of the railroad company.Crops all look well, wheat heading out

and corn in tip-to- p condition. Plentynew potatoes and "garden sa-s- " in
