• Needs to be balance between quiet study space and space for interaction
2. USE OF INFORMATION RESOURCES
• Challenge of keeping up to date
• Varied use of social media
• Wide range of resources• Organised access to less
traditional resources can be difficult
3. CREATION OF INFORMATION RESOURCES
• Commonly known research outputs are at tip of the iceberg
• Very little use of informal publication methods
4. INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
• Widespread use of reference management software
• Difference in confidence between established and new researchers
