May has also proved to be their busiest month on record!! Many divers stopped over to take a look at the new facility and have a coffee with COJO. Of course there was also the Annual Victoria Day Dive Excursion held on Deer Island with Sunset Suites and Cottage donating their BBQ’s and utensils for no charge to the divers!!!! These are some of the nicest recreational lights available!!

Annual Victoria Day Weekend
Dive Excursion!! For Victoria Day Weekend May 18 to 21, Connie and Joe headed for Deer Island and the Annual Victoria Day Dive Excursion!! This year was the largest ever with more than 30 divers from Fredericton, Saint John and Nova Scotia!! The tides were fantastic and there was dive after dive going on. Shearwater SCUBA Club showed up to celebrate and dive as well. What an awesome weekend!! Saturday Night Connie and Joe hosted the annual Potluck and BBQ at Sunset Suites and Cottage. A very special thanks to Sunset Suites and Cottages for supplying the BBQ’s, Utensils and the most beautiful sunsets on the East Coast!! You guys ROCK!!
For May, Joe Headed to Pointe Claire, Quebec for
his Instructor Crossover Course as well as the PADI
Instructor Evaluation. This was a very demanding
and rewarding course that familiarized Joe with the
PADI system of teaching SCUBA Divers. PADI is
the largest and most recognized organization in the
world. They are the leaders in recreational diving!!
A special thanks to Francois Demers, PADI Course Director that helped Joe
to cross over and a big congratulations to all the new PADI instructors,
especially Vince Longpré and Marc Boudreau who worked with Joe during
