There are dozens of food trucks lined up at the Yeouido World Night Market. There is a buffet ranging from Korean food to Chinese food, as well as Japanese and American. Performances at the Cascade Plaza with Hangang in the background offer a touch of romance. There are programs for children such as eco bag making, pressed flower making and more for the entire family to enjoy.

▶ A new night market that changes night in Seoul The Seoul Bamdokkaebi Night Market is a night market that maximizes the charms of Seoul’s attractions. ▶ Water gun fight with an android this year The Sinchon Water Gun Festival is a large-scale water gun fight that is held in the middle of the city. Participants can enjoy DJ performances, water attractions, a bubble party and everything related to water. Anyone can take part in this festival, and it has become known for its originality every year. Following the pirate and alien themes of the past, this year’s theme will be the android.
▶ Korea’s Songkran Festival with 50,000 participants each year This is Korea’s representative water festival that stands side by side with Thailand’s world-famous water festival, Songkran. With over 150,000 participants the past five years, this festival was selected as the representative brand festival of Seoul for three consecutive years.
Main Facilities
Main Stage A large android will be installed in the plaza, the main stage, in front of Hyundai Department Store U-Plex. DJ performances and concerts will be staged at this location.
Attraction Visitors can enjoy water fights with water cannons, water lasers and other specially themed equipment. There are also air bounces and water slides for children.

The artists explore and discover spaces in the stadium to display their works of art and hold performances. Just like a treasure hunt, there is the excitement in discovering new spaces. There will be performances and exhibitions at the sky box too, a place not commonly visited by spectators.

▶ A new and independent art festival at the stadium The Seoul Fringe Festival is Korea’s largest independent art festival that was started in 1998. Spectators can see, enjoy and feel drama, dance, music, performances, art, images and other independent art in an unusual space, the stadium.
▶ Infinite challenges of young artists Unlike ordinary art festivals, there is no judging or selection of art works and artists. Spectators can enjoy new attempts, new challenges and unconstrained works of artists that break away from the standardized pattern to explore different genres and forms. There will be 40 teams and 500 individual artists to participate in the festival.

Artists’ Safe House The 36 tunnels on the third floor of the World Cup Stadium will be transformed into a space for spectators to become artists. Spectators will experience being artists themselves while helping other spectators and artists become closer.
Pop-up Fringe An event that publicizes art works and contents of the Fringe Festival in a space outside the stadium.
Fringe Village Artists who participate in the festival live in the stadium sky box for one month prior to the start of the festival to explore stadium space and create works of art. There are performances and exhibitions held throughout the festival.
Micro Forum A program created with the belief that a meeting of three individuals can constitute a forum. Artists, staff members, volunteers, spectators and individuals in different fields gather in groups of twos and threes to freely discuss their fields of interest, topics of issue and converse freely.

1st Generation From ore radios to the time when people made radios and amps with electronic devices used by US soldiers, this exhibition tells the story and displays products of radio images, or sound images.
New Med I a
2nd Generation A display of the introduction of new media such as personal computers, electronic games, karaoke machines and others along with time for taking apart and duplicating originals to contribute to localization and popularization. This is an exhibition of work space and products of the second generation who learned techniques from the first generation.

3rd Generation The introduction of third generation makers who join the flow of the Internet, open sources and the maker’s movement. This exhibition is a display of what they create in Sewoon Shopping Center and their exchanges with the first and second generations.
▶ Sewoon Shopping Center’s 60-year history in one glance Sewoon Electronics Museum is a museum with the electronic-electric technical history of Sewoon Shopping Center from the junk shop era of the 1950s to the (brand) maker’s movement of the modern times. ▶ Commemorative opening exhibition, ‘Three Generations of Cheonggyecheon Makers’ There will be an exhibition on the theme of ‘Three Generations of Cheonggyecheon Makers,’ open until December 31, 2018. There will be a display of the insides of old radios and TVs, coin arcades, 3D printers, cylinder picture tubes and radio tube tuners. Visitors can experiences arcade game making and more.

▶ A true learning space for oneself Modu School is a new lifelong learning center of Seoul on the old Hanwool Middle School site in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu. It is a place of learning and planning for citizens of all generations and genders, communities and natives.
Operational Programs
Citizen School Startup Modu School is a startup school of citizens, founded by citizens and for citizens. Citizens can learn more than what is offered at existing public learning institutions or lifelong learning centers. Modu’s Ensemble Project A learning project that makes an attempt at a fusion of architecture, media, the humanities and other fields to diversify lifelong learning and make life fruitful.

▶ Grand scenery of a canyon and winding river The Pocheon Hantangang River is the country’s only river created by basaltic erosion. The columnar joints along the river boast of grandness that is as majestic as the Grand Canyon. Construction of the Hantangang Jusangjeolli-gil along the columnar joints is now 20km completed, and 53km will be completed by 2020.

How to fully enjoy Hantangang Jusangjeolli-gil
▶ An exhilarating sky bridge over Hantangang River The sky bridge is a bridge where visitors can see the country’s only grand columnar joints of Hantangang River that have been created by basaltic erosion and the exhilarating canyon. The bridge is 200m long and 2m side, and it is sturdy enough to hold 1,500 people weighing 80kg at once. ▶ A natural unexplored region hidden in the forest, the ‘Bidulginang Falls’ The Bidulginang Falls, Natural Monument No. 537, is a river created by basaltic erosion that is located on the lower Bulmucheon Stream originating from Bulmusan Mountain. Bidulginang was given its name for its deep pocket-like appearance similar to that of a pigeon’s nest. It is located about 300m from Hantangang River’s sky bridge.

▶ A tug-of-war festival with a history of 320 years This historic tug-of-war festival is even recorded in the 1749 records from the Joseon Dynasty, it was selected as the 2018 Korea Cultural Tourism Festival. Its feature is that all citizens participate in this large-scale and exciting event.
▶ Even more exciting with a historical story of Ulsan The topography of Ulsan includes the shape of the Malmeori (Madu) that spreads into the ocean protected by Dongdaesan and Muryongsan. Madunori came to be through the barracks and the guesthouse bell tower (currently the clock tower intersection) during Dano under the meaning, ‘lasso the mountain and pull it to catch the spirit entering the ocean.’
