The New Way

![Page 10: Theories of Evolution](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022062514/558d4aa0d8b42aaf108b46b8/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Decadence
• If there is no absolute morality, then
indulgence and pleasure are justified.
• Ideas of right and wrong and spirituality

to promote successful evolution

![Page 11: Theories of Evolution](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022062514/558d4aa0d8b42aaf108b46b8/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)

Mystery
• Themes of turn of the century literature
reflect society’s changes

behavior becomes the basis of mystery
fiction
![Page 15: Theories of Evolution](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022062514/558d4aa0d8b42aaf108b46b8/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
