Victim vs. Powerful• Looking for a rescuer to

make me feel safe and happy

• Circumstances and others dictate my happiness

• I’ll act miserable so you will help me

• I have no control of my life or my choices

• Uses “I can’t”, “I have to” and “I’ll try”

• Knows who they are and life flows out to others

• Knows their job is to control themselves, not others.

• Creates the environment in which they want to live--a safe place to know and be known intimately

• Chooses to love no matter what the other person says or does

Being a victim endswhen you make choices

not to be one!

“(A victim) will continue to recreate theirvictimized reality as long as they refuse

to repent from it and pursue being powerful.”~Danny Silk
