Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our
community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering
may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you
close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast
spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so
join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus
who healed those who believed. Amen.

Prayer for Advent
Father Almighty,
As we prepare to celebrate the coming of the Incarnate Word
promised by the prophets of long ago, may we await him with
the hope for a world free from hatred and division, a world replete
with your love. Father, we pray that the lights from the Advent
wreath will remind us of the Light of the World who
chases the darkness from our hearts. Help us to open our hearts,
our homes and our family to your peace. And, with such peace,
may we act as modern-day prophets, reminding ourselves and
encouraging others to “Prepare the way of the Lord!” AMEN
In an effort to promote parish living we
have an opportunity to order spirit
jerseys for this winter season coming
up! Spirit Jerseys will be available in
sizes XS-2XL. Color of the jersey is
called "blue moon" and will read SAINT
MARY Woolmarket, MS on the back.
Our goal is to have these in before
Christmas! Deadline to sign up to order
these is Nov 20th and deadline to pay
for order is Nov 27th. There will be a
printed out sign up sheet in the back of
the church on cork board! If you have
any questions contact Arielle Palady or
Lindsey Martin!
St. Mary Christmas Pot Luck Dinner and Sneaky Santa
Please join us tonight, Saturday, after Vigil
for our Saint Mary Annual Christmas Pot Luck Dinner and Sneaky Santa.
Dear parents,
Our Children’s Christmas Program is approaching. Last year we had over
twenty children participate. The program is so much fun to prepare for. There
are very few lines to learn, fun and energetic songs to sing, and a few simple
dance moves to go with them. There are also many opportunities for children
to sing solos or have speaking parts if they so choose. The program is open to
children from 3 - 12 years old. The program will be performed on Sunday,
December18th at 3:00 p.m. and there will be a dress rehearsal/performance on
Thursday, December 15th at 6:00 p.m. We will have about 6-7 other practices
in preparation of the performance. Our first practice is on Monday, November
28th from 5:15-6:30p.m. in the church. A full list of practices is below. Please
encourage your child to help us tell the story of Jesus’ birth. It will be a
wonderful experience for them and a great opportunity for you to see your child
shine.
Sincerely,
Cherie Prentiss
