JCI RanchiJunior Chamber International is a world wide organisation of young persons. It is a stage for free expressions and centre for self development. Welcome to one of the greatest young people's organization in the world - Junior Chamber International. JCI is the only largest youth organization with leadership development, founded by Henry Giessenbier in 1915 at St. Louis Missouri, USA. The movement was initiated in India through Calcutta chapter in the year 1949 by a Philippine Jaycee Seguanda mapa.

Expo Utsav ProfileJCI Ranchi has been organizing Expo Utsav since 1996. This year Expo Utsav has attained another milestone of the only consumer fair in the state of Jharkhand & Bihar to have been organised for 20 consecutive years.
Expo utsav has become a hallmark of consumer fair in this region. This event attracts hundreds of enthusiastic sellers and thousand of interested buyers. Since its existence, it has acquired a new dimension. Customers, dealers, suppliers and associates have all successfully facilitate their prospects. It has over the years, allowed effective interface with potential customers to adopt new market introductions and encourage new ideas for the forthcoming years based on changing market trends and fashion. Today there are thousands of manufacturers and lacs of new products entered the market which requires a common platform, a network to interact with one another. The Expo Utsav is an ideal attempt that successfully bridges the gamp.
Shouldering 20 great years of legacy, glory and success was not an easy task. Yet Jaycees taught me in these few years that "responsibility
should be taken not given". Now here I am taking this huge responsibility along with my able team to prove once again that "TEAM WORKS
MAKES DREAM WORK " .
Last 20 years Expo Utsav has taken place in public's psyche not just as consumer or trade fair where traders and manufacturers come and
meet their consumers, but much more than that. Expo Utsav has become an expectation of lakhs of visitors, what new they are getting,
what special deductions they are being offered, what new has been offered in terms of spectre and experience and many more. Friends
this expectation drives us to do what we do. This expectation becomes our passion and we as a whole team strive to match it.
EXPO Utsav is amalgamation of many things but the uninhibited support of participants, sponsors, vendors and visitors is the vital
ingredient. This year we are introducing huge AC hangers for the very first time in the state. This will surely make it the COOLEST EXPO
but will be the HOTTEST shopping destination for people of Jharkhand. I along with my able EXPO TEAM take this opportunity to present

Growth is never by mere chance , it is the result of the forces working together. So is the growth story of Expo Utsav. There is no doubt that a great deal have been achieved since its inception .
Expo Utsav, what began as a glorified trade fair has transitioned through various phases and have crossed many milestones of success year after year. Progress is neither automatic nor inevitable every step towards the goal requires sacrifice, suffering and struggle. It is tough to reach at the top of the ladder of success and it is toughest to stay and balance yourself at that place. I feel proud to say that tireless exertion and passionate concern of all the dedicated members has gone along way to attain the goal ,and have constantly maintained the charm and dignity of 'The Expo Utsav'.
As a president, it gives me immense pleasure to invite you all on behalf of JCI Ranchi to the grand Expo Utsav 2016.

participation including high-volume business growth has made Expo Utsav one of the most sought after trade events in the state of Jharkhand.
The venue chosen is Morabadi Ground, Ranchi, Jharkhand and the dates have been scheduled from 29th September to 3rd October 2016. As an

This event is organised with the objective to promote orderly growth and development of consumer products. With the increasing number of participants and growing visitors and with a view to assist both participants and visitors and to have better acquaintance with each other, we are providing increased stall area. Mineral water and food coupons of a fixed amount will be served to the participants for 4 days.
How to apply for booking?
Applications for space booking at the exhibition EXPO UTSAV 2016 shall be made in the prescribed form, enclosed with this booklet, which involves acceptance of the rules & regulations as laid by the exhibitors. Applications must reach the organizers on or before 25th September 2016 together with Additional Requirement Form & a demand draft/cheque drawn on any bank of Ranchi in favour of "JUNIOR CHAMBER INTERNATIONAL RANCHI". Applications which are incomplete and/or not accompanied by the appropriate remittance and enclosures will not be considered. There is no legal right of participation to anybody. Organizers have the sole discretion to accept or reject any application, without giving any justification to the concerned applicant. Sub-letting or transfer of space to any third party will not be permitted.
Stall Allocation
Allotment of stall will be generally done on the first cum-first serve basis, but the discretion of allotment lies in the hands of the organizers. The details of allotment will be communicated to the exhibitor by 25th September, 2016. If required, the organizers may, without stating any reason, amend the floor plan, change the space of allocation or reduce the area of stall. Organizers reserve the right to change the position of the entry and exit gates of the exhibition. Service tax as applicable shall be charged extra.
Standard Facilities
Stall rental charges cover hire charges for stall, facia with exhibitor's name, two directors chairs, one display table, one tent table, carpet flooring, electricity supply of 1 KW along with three spot lights and one 5 amp point. Additional requirement to the above, shall be provided if possible, on advance request at an additional cost. Organizers will provide power to exhibitors as per the requirement mentioned in the application form, subject to the overall availability of power. Exhibitor should give their approximate figure of total power requirement in the Additional Requirement Form. Octonorm structure shall be provided to all the stalls, however,
stalls made in open space shall be covered with water proof pandal and will have 18 inches centering at the floor. A full carpet and octonorm structure shall be provided as is provided inside the Hall.
Service of a common public address system for message and music is made available to the participants, free of cost. Mineral water and food coupon of a fixed amount will be given to all the participants for 4 days of exhibition from 29th Sept. - 3rd Oct., 2016. A well-stuffed food stall shall offer a variety of snacks, beverages, ice-cream etc. at the venue for participants and visitors at fixed prices.
Security
Round the clock general security from 29th September, 2016 to 3rd October 2016, onwards will be provided by the organizers. However, the organizers will not be responsible for any theft, loss and damage to any property of the exhibitors.
Fire Fighting Equipments
Fire fighting equipments will be provided at different points of the exhibition hall. Exhibitors are however, advised to take due precaution and provide necessary equipment in the stall. The organizers are not responsible for damages due to fire.
Insurance
Organizers will arrange for insurance coverage of exhibition area in general. This would, however, not cover insurance of individual stalls, exhibits or any other materials in the exhibitor's stall. Exhibitors are advised to insure their exhibits and other materials separately. Third party insurance, accident responsibility of exhibitors. The organizers will not be responsible for any pilferage, theft or tampering etc.
Pass Distribution
The participants will be provided with six (6) exhibitor passes for every stall. In case, the participants need more passes, they should mention it in Additional Requirement Form. Passes will be handed over to the authorised representatives of the exhibitors from the reception from 1 p.m. onwards on 29th September 2016.
Information Centre / Reception :
Information Center/Reception will be setup at the exhibition site for the benefit of the visitors and exhibitors to disseminate information about the exhibition, exhibitors and services.
Publicity
Hoarding : Hoarding, digitally printed on flex will be displayed at prominent locations of the city, 15 days in advance, to make general awareness of the exhibition.
Gates : Welcome Gates will be made at the time of exhibition on Morabadi Ground, Ranchi.
Press Conference : To make know all the details of the exhibition, press conferences shall be called upon by the organizers from time to time.
Press Briefing : Press briefings shall be made from time to time about all the activities of the participants, organizers and visitors related to EXPO UTSAV 2016.
Press/Media Publication : Advertisement shall be made at the time of exhibition in all leading newspapers/news channels of this Region.
Invitation : Invitation cards shall be distributed among the high profile consumers, leading business houses etc of Ranchi.
Apart from all the above measures of advertisement, the organizers will try
their best to make the exhibition the most popular event of the town. It is
desirable for participants to arrange sufficient number of leaflets and
products literature for public distribution. Exhibitors will be free to carry
out their own publicity independently at their own cost. Distribution of
printed pamphlets outside the exhibition area and publicity by/of non-
exhibitors is prohibited.
Entry Ticket :
For all visitors, an entry ticket of Rs. 10/- shall be available at the entry gate, to permit entry to the exhibition.
Force Majeure :
Under unforeseen circumstances i.e. due to the acts of God, in the event of strikes, lockouts, bands, riots, and civil or political disturbance or any other cause beyond the control of the organizers due to natural calamity or any such situation, the organizers reserve the right to alter the dates and duration or even cancel the entire exhibition. In case of cancellation of the exhibition, the amount will be refunded to the exhibitors after deducting the proportionate cost already incurred by the organizers.
Liability Clause :
Organizers are not liable in any form for any loss or damage to exhibitor's property at the exhibition site or injury to their personnel and visitors. Exhibitors agree to refrain from making any claim on the organizers and indemnity claims, if any, by third party arising out of exhibitors conduct. The organizers shall not be held responsible for any tax liability of the participants and other unsettled issues and legal implications. In case of any dispute, between the organizers and exhibitors, the decision of the Expo Organising Committee shall be final and binding. All decision will be subject to Ranchi Jurisdiction only.
