PACER• Cardio fitness run
• Tracks how many laps students do.
• Students get three late starts before ending

WALK TEST
• Measure of aerobic fitness
• Students walk a mile.
• They are not allowed to run or jog, just walk.
CURL-UP• Instructional Video
• Students will complete as many curl-ups as they can staying on pace with the audio.
• Their feet must lay flat on the floor and their hands touching the tape as they come up.
• They cannot go faster or slower
• The maximum is 75
PUSH-UPS
• While using the same pace as curl-ups
• Students chest must hit cone
• Disadvantage: taller people use the same cone so they might go less than 90 degrees (harder)
MODIFIED PULL-UP
• How to score and do modified pull-ups
FLEXED ARM HANG
• Students hang from bar with their chin above bar
• Teacher times how long they hold themselves above the bar.
• Measures upper body strength and endurance.
BMI
• Stands for Body Mass Index
• Can be calculated and found at this site

TRUNK LIFT
• Students lay on their stomachs
• As teacher walks by they lift their head up as high as they can
• They cannot use anything to help lift them up
• This tests back (trunk) strength

SIT AND REACH
• Tests each leg’s flexibility
• Students place one leg against box.
• Each leg’s arm goes on the bottom with the other on the top.
• Students reach as far as they possibly can.
• Sit and Reach Test
SHOULDER STRETCH
• This tests shoulder flexibility
• Students raise one arm up and behind back
• The other arm goes down and behind back
• They try and grab their hands in the back
• If they do it, write yes; if they don’t, write no.
