According to American Diabetes Association (ADA), Type 1 Diabetes usually diagnosed in children and young adult. It was used to be called Juvenile Diabetes About 5% of Americans are diagnosed with Type 1diabetes (ADA).In Type 1 diabetes thebody does not produce Insulin. Insulin is a hormone that is needed to change sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life.
