Udenco is Gymna Uniphy’s preferred supplier when it comes to electronic

parts and components and the pillows used in their massage tables. But, the

cooperation involves more; last year Gymna Uniphy invited Udenco to join them

in an early stage of the design process. ‘Udenco has extensive technical

knowledge and especially their sourcing is outstanding,’ say Marcel Doucé

and Aline Linssen from Gymna Uniphy.

From Sourcing to Virtual Production Chain

‘Even before Udenco became Gymna Uniphy’s virtual production chain, Udenco served

us already, as a consultant in sourcing.In that period Udenco made us quite an impressive

calculation and offer. When our then-preffered supplier stopped went bankrupt, it was an

easy choice,’ Linssen explains, ‘and from that moment everything runs smoothly and to full

satisfaction,’ Doucé adds, ‘with Udenco it feels as if we have an extra internal unit.

This lead to Udenco being officially asked to join in at the design table

last year. Doucé: ‘That was very useful and lucrative for everybody. We

profit from their technical knowledge and sourcing ingenuity and Udenco

can start thinking about smart production solutions in a very early stage.

Linssen: ‘Udenco is distincive because of their technical knowledge

and the sourcing, but especially because of their flexibility. And that is

something embedded in the people of Udenco. You really notice how
