Notes:Parents/GuardiansThese badges are only a guide to the types of activities we get upto but not everything. Not all activities will result in a badge orcertificate but we hope they will encourage young people toprogress, grow in confidence and try out new things.
Most badges are designed as part of the UK JuniorNavigator Programme but for some badges like Swimming andCycling these can be done outside of the unit. So if this is the casewe ask your child to bring evidence into the unit and they can do aquick show and tell so that a leader can sign the badge or activityoff.
If a child wants to do something particular or perhaps not listedplease let us know and we will try and build it into the programmewhen possible.
Co-ordinatorsNone of these badges are set in stone so please feel free to alterto ability or to fit with your community. These are only a guide. Please feel free to use as you wish.
Other BadgesIf you’re child has completed badges with other youth groups weare more than happy for you to put them on any Navigator Uniformor Camp Blanket you might have. We like to recognise all childrensachievements so please feel free to display them appropriately.Just leave a bit of room for all the fun things they will get up to hereas well.
