Dear Dr. Lapea:UP One Earth (UPOE) is a university wide organization that aims to instill amongst students of the premiere health sciences center in the country the undeniable link between environmental and human health. Since 2008, UPOE has been actively organizing forums and activities to engage the student population about issues concerning environment and health. In partnership with Youth for Nationalism and Democracy, UPOE plans to host a forum regarding Coal and Mining in Zambales. The event aims to raise awareness among UP students regarding coal and mining issues. The participants will include NSTP students, UPOE members and UPOE applicants.The organization would like to ask your permission to reserve the conference room in the OLD NEDA building to give venue to the forum. The organization would like to use the auditorium during October 19, 2014 (-), from 4:00-5:30 pm.Your affirmation to this request would be greatly appreciated as UP One Earth is in need of a venue. We hope you can assist us in hosting a successful forum and in doing such bring pride and honour to UP Manila. Thank you.
