The TAG Lens is a tunable ultra high-speed device that uses sound to change the property of light giving it the ability to rapidly change focal lengths in sub micro-second.

Easy to use, it can be operated from the USB output of a portable computer. Adding a wealth of functionality, the TAG Lens can operate on its own or easily be incorporated into existing optical setups and devices enabling the development of novel types of imaging or processing.
The TAG Lens is designed and optimized to harness small density changes in fluids caused by sound.
