Vacation. /veɪ’keɪ·ʃən/A holiday, especially when you are travelling away from home for pleasure. A period of the year when schools or colleges are closed, or when law courts do not operate.

Beach. /bitʃ/An area of sand or small stones near the
sea or another area of water such as a lake.
