• YMCAChallengerLeagueisaboutmorethanplayingagame.It’saboutmakingnewfriends,buildingself-esteemandbeingtreatedjustlikeotherkids.
• Tohelpathletesweusea“buddy”systemandpaireachplayerwithavolunteerthatisatleast9yearsofagethroughadult.Thisinteractionhasproventobeapositiveexperienceforallinvolvedandhasresultedinlastingfriendships.
