science classroom and lab.”
• Agree or disagree? (write the statement and answer in your notebook pg __.)– Lab accidents happen 50 times more often than
chemical factory accidents.– Lab accidents may result in permanent injury.– Following lab rules decreases chances of accidents
by 90%.– Labs are a dangerous place for students.
Learning Target 1.1

• I know the names and location of safety and lab equipment in my classroom.
Activity One: 20 mins
• View and take notes on the lab safety power-point.
• Set up your notebook pgs __:– Title: Lab safety Notes– Number your paper from #1 to #20, leaving 2 lines
