Dear Friends
The other day I was standing under a
huge tree It was majestic tall with huge
branches and full of leaves As I was
observing and admiring the tree suddenly
my eyes fell on a few dry branches A
huge dry branch was covered by other
branches I looked at it closely and noticed
many holes possibly made by
woodpeckers or worms I said to myself ldquoIf that dry
branch is not tended to without outward signs termites
or rain or any creatures can destroy the entire tree over
time That would be a great disasterrdquo
At present our country is going through a challenging
time It is a dark period Let us look at our country as
being a magnificent beautiful tree but there are a few
dry branches We need to tend to them or the
destruction could be great Our country is facing
COVID-19 to which we lost more than 100000
people As we face COVID-19 we found another dry
branch named Racism We can continue to overlook it
as though it does not exist or pay attention and work
on it before the fabric of our society is destroyed
Even some of the European countries are realizing and
talking about this monster Racism Should talking be
enough or should they get on to their feet Look at the
experiences of different countries Due to oppression
and racism India South Africa the US and other
countries fought for freedom
Our nation is now a superpower rich educated and
democratic Yet we have some dry branches racism
economic disparity indifference and growing
secularism It is everyones responsibility to pay
attention
Even in our Catholic Church we experience dry
branches The Middle Ages were filled with scandals
and political power struggles In recent times our
church has experienced the dry branches of sexual
abuse scandals causing many people to leave their
faith and the closing of many parishes It took the
secular media to purify the Holy Catholic Church as
the authorities within were neglecting to tend to the
dry branches (Continued on page 10)

With all that is going on in our world today we
must reflect on how we can be an instrument of
Gods peace to society As Christians we are
pro-life and that includes all life from conception
to natural death Life is a gift given to us by God
and is precious in his sight so it must be treated
as such by us as well The Church is one and
includes all nations Christ teaches us we are
neighbors to people far beyond those directly
around us including the unborn people of
different races social classes even political views Through
love we must seek to see Christ in the people around us and to
love and serve Him by loving and serving all people We cannot
claim to be a Christian when we cannot see Christ in the people
around us Once we recognize Christ in our neighbor it is then
impossible for hate to have a place in our lives Today let us
allow the love of Christ to dwell within us and seek to be a
source of peace and unity for a world so horribly divided Let
us heal the wounds of sin and division with the grace and power
that can only come from our Triune God
Mary Mother of us all pray for us and lead us to Christ our

Are our problems over No Not in the Church nor in
our country For a long time in our country many dry
branches including racism lack of respect love care
recognition of abilities have been hidden under green
leaves And the destruction is becoming great
Speaking and working toward resolution can cause
a lot of pain But if we are frightened of the pain of
pruning the dry branches healing will not take place
As we celebrate the feast of the Holy Trinity this
weekend we need to think about the perfect unity the
Father Son and Holy Spirit have Let us pray that our
church our country and the world at large will prune
the dry branches and save our majestic tree Let us
pray for the conversion of the leaders of these majestic
trees that they open their eyes to safeguard the greater
good and dignity of every individual

Dear Friends
The other day I was standing under a
huge tree It was majestic tall with huge
branches and full of leaves As I was
observing and admiring the tree suddenly
my eyes fell on a few dry branches A
huge dry branch was covered by other
branches I looked at it closely and noticed
many holes possibly made by
woodpeckers or worms I said to myself ldquoIf that dry
branch is not tended to without outward signs termites
or rain or any creatures can destroy the entire tree over
time That would be a great disasterrdquo
At present our country is going through a challenging
time It is a dark period Let us look at our country as
being a magnificent beautiful tree but there are a few
dry branches We need to tend to them or the
destruction could be great Our country is facing
COVID-19 to which we lost more than 100000
people As we face COVID-19 we found another dry
branch named Racism We can continue to overlook it
as though it does not exist or pay attention and work
on it before the fabric of our society is destroyed
Even some of the European countries are realizing and
talking about this monster Racism Should talking be
enough or should they get on to their feet Look at the
experiences of different countries Due to oppression
and racism India South Africa the US and other
countries fought for freedom
Our nation is now a superpower rich educated and
democratic Yet we have some dry branches racism
economic disparity indifference and growing
secularism It is everyones responsibility to pay
attention
Even in our Catholic Church we experience dry
branches The Middle Ages were filled with scandals
and political power struggles In recent times our
church has experienced the dry branches of sexual
abuse scandals causing many people to leave their
faith and the closing of many parishes It took the
secular media to purify the Holy Catholic Church as
the authorities within were neglecting to tend to the

With all that is going on in our world today we
must reflect on how we can be an instrument of
Gods peace to society As Christians we are
pro-life and that includes all life from conception
to natural death Life is a gift given to us by God
and is precious in his sight so it must be treated
as such by us as well The Church is one and
includes all nations Christ teaches us we are
neighbors to people far beyond those directly
around us including the unborn people of
different races social classes even political views Through
love we must seek to see Christ in the people around us and to
love and serve Him by loving and serving all people We cannot
claim to be a Christian when we cannot see Christ in the people
around us Once we recognize Christ in our neighbor it is then
impossible for hate to have a place in our lives Today let us
allow the love of Christ to dwell within us and seek to be a
source of peace and unity for a world so horribly divided Let
us heal the wounds of sin and division with the grace and power
that can only come from our Triune God
Mary Mother of us all pray for us and lead us to Christ our

Are our problems over No Not in the Church nor in
our country For a long time in our country many dry
branches including racism lack of respect love care
recognition of abilities have been hidden under green
leaves And the destruction is becoming great
Speaking and working toward resolution can cause
a lot of pain But if we are frightened of the pain of
pruning the dry branches healing will not take place
As we celebrate the feast of the Holy Trinity this
weekend we need to think about the perfect unity the

Dear Friends
The other day I was standing under a
huge tree It was majestic tall with huge
branches and full of leaves As I was
observing and admiring the tree suddenly
my eyes fell on a few dry branches A
huge dry branch was covered by other
branches I looked at it closely and noticed
many holes possibly made by
woodpeckers or worms I said to myself ldquoIf that dry
branch is not tended to without outward signs termites
or rain or any creatures can destroy the entire tree over
time That would be a great disasterrdquo
At present our country is going through a challenging
time It is a dark period Let us look at our country as
being a magnificent beautiful tree but there are a few
dry branches We need to tend to them or the
destruction could be great Our country is facing
COVID-19 to which we lost more than 100000
people As we face COVID-19 we found another dry
branch named Racism We can continue to overlook it
as though it does not exist or pay attention and work
on it before the fabric of our society is destroyed
Even some of the European countries are realizing and
talking about this monster Racism Should talking be
enough or should they get on to their feet Look at the
experiences of different countries Due to oppression
and racism India South Africa the US and other
countries fought for freedom
Our nation is now a superpower rich educated and
democratic Yet we have some dry branches racism
economic disparity indifference and growing
secularism It is everyones responsibility to pay
attention
Even in our Catholic Church we experience dry
branches The Middle Ages were filled with scandals
and political power struggles In recent times our
church has experienced the dry branches of sexual
abuse scandals causing many people to leave their
faith and the closing of many parishes It took the
secular media to purify the Holy Catholic Church as
the authorities within were neglecting to tend to the

With all that is going on in our world today we
must reflect on how we can be an instrument of
Gods peace to society As Christians we are
pro-life and that includes all life from conception
to natural death Life is a gift given to us by God
and is precious in his sight so it must be treated
as such by us as well The Church is one and
includes all nations Christ teaches us we are
neighbors to people far beyond those directly
around us including the unborn people of
different races social classes even political views Through
love we must seek to see Christ in the people around us and to
love and serve Him by loving and serving all people We cannot
claim to be a Christian when we cannot see Christ in the people
around us Once we recognize Christ in our neighbor it is then
impossible for hate to have a place in our lives Today let us
allow the love of Christ to dwell within us and seek to be a
source of peace and unity for a world so horribly divided Let
us heal the wounds of sin and division with the grace and power
that can only come from our Triune God
Mary Mother of us all pray for us and lead us to Christ our

Are our problems over No Not in the Church nor in
our country For a long time in our country many dry
branches including racism lack of respect love care
recognition of abilities have been hidden under green
leaves And the destruction is becoming great

Dear Friends
The other day I was standing under a
huge tree It was majestic tall with huge
branches and full of leaves As I was
observing and admiring the tree suddenly
my eyes fell on a few dry branches A
huge dry branch was covered by other
branches I looked at it closely and noticed
many holes possibly made by
woodpeckers or worms I said to myself ldquoIf that dry
branch is not tended to without outward signs termites
or rain or any creatures can destroy the entire tree over
time That would be a great disasterrdquo
At present our country is going through a challenging
time It is a dark period Let us look at our country as
being a magnificent beautiful tree but there are a few
dry branches We need to tend to them or the
destruction could be great Our country is facing
COVID-19 to which we lost more than 100000
people As we face COVID-19 we found another dry
branch named Racism We can continue to overlook it
as though it does not exist or pay attention and work
on it before the fabric of our society is destroyed
Even some of the European countries are realizing and
talking about this monster Racism Should talking be
enough or should they get on to their feet Look at the
experiences of different countries Due to oppression
and racism India South Africa the US and other
countries fought for freedom
Our nation is now a superpower rich educated and
democratic Yet we have some dry branches racism
economic disparity indifference and growing
secularism It is everyones responsibility to pay
attention
Even in our Catholic Church we experience dry
branches The Middle Ages were filled with scandals
and political power struggles In recent times our
church has experienced the dry branches of sexual
abuse scandals causing many people to leave their
faith and the closing of many parishes It took the
secular media to purify the Holy Catholic Church as
the authorities within were neglecting to tend to the

With all that is going on in our world today we
must reflect on how we can be an instrument of
Gods peace to society As Christians we are
pro-life and that includes all life from conception
to natural death Life is a gift given to us by God
and is precious in his sight so it must be treated
as such by us as well The Church is one and
includes all nations Christ teaches us we are
neighbors to people far beyond those directly
around us including the unborn people of
different races social classes even political views Through
love we must seek to see Christ in the people around us and to
love and serve Him by loving and serving all people We cannot
claim to be a Christian when we cannot see Christ in the people
around us Once we recognize Christ in our neighbor it is then
impossible for hate to have a place in our lives Today let us
allow the love of Christ to dwell within us and seek to be a
source of peace and unity for a world so horribly divided Let
us heal the wounds of sin and division with the grace and power
that can only come from our Triune God

Are our problems over No Not in the Church nor in
our country For a long time in our country many dry
branches including racism lack of respect love care
recognition of abilities have been hidden under green
leaves And the destruction is becoming great
Speaking and working toward resolution can cause
a lot of pain But if we are frightened of the pain of
pruning the dry branches healing will not take place
As we celebrate the feast of the Holy Trinity this
weekend we need to think about the perfect unity the

Dear Friends
The other day I was standing under a
huge tree It was majestic tall with huge
branches and full of leaves As I was
observing and admiring the tree suddenly
my eyes fell on a few dry branches A
huge dry branch was covered by other
branches I looked at it closely and noticed
many holes possibly made by
woodpeckers or worms I said to myself ldquoIf that dry
branch is not tended to without outward signs termites
or rain or any creatures can destroy the entire tree over
time That would be a great disasterrdquo
At present our country is going through a challenging
time It is a dark period Let us look at our country as
being a magnificent beautiful tree but there are a few
dry branches We need to tend to them or the
destruction could be great Our country is facing
COVID-19 to which we lost more than 100000
people As we face COVID-19 we found another dry
branch named Racism We can continue to overlook it
as though it does not exist or pay attention and work
on it before the fabric of our society is destroyed
Even some of the European countries are realizing and
talking about this monster Racism Should talking be
enough or should they get on to their feet Look at the
experiences of different countries Due to oppression
and racism India South Africa the US and other
countries fought for freedom
Our nation is now a superpower rich educated and
democratic Yet we have some dry branches racism
economic disparity indifference and growing
secularism It is everyones responsibility to pay
attention
Even in our Catholic Church we experience dry
branches The Middle Ages were filled with scandals
and political power struggles In recent times our
church has experienced the dry branches of sexual
abuse scandals causing many people to leave their
faith and the closing of many parishes It took the
secular media to purify the Holy Catholic Church as
the authorities within were neglecting to tend to the

With all that is going on in our world today we
must reflect on how we can be an instrument of
Gods peace to society As Christians we are
pro-life and that includes all life from conception
to natural death Life is a gift given to us by God
and is precious in his sight so it must be treated
as such by us as well The Church is one and
includes all nations Christ teaches us we are
neighbors to people far beyond those directly
around us including the unborn people of
different races social classes even political views Through
love we must seek to see Christ in the people around us and to
love and serve Him by loving and serving all people We cannot
claim to be a Christian when we cannot see Christ in the people
around us Once we recognize Christ in our neighbor it is then
impossible for hate to have a place in our lives Today let us
allow the love of Christ to dwell within us and seek to be a
source of peace and unity for a world so horribly divided Let
us heal the wounds of sin and division with the grace and power
that can only come from our Triune God

Are our problems over No Not in the Church nor in
our country For a long time in our country many dry
branches including racism lack of respect love care
recognition of abilities have been hidden under green
leaves And the destruction is becoming great
Speaking and working toward resolution can cause
a lot of pain But if we are frightened of the pain of
pruning the dry branches healing will not take place
As we celebrate the feast of the Holy Trinity this
weekend we need to think about the perfect unity the
Father Son and Holy Spirit have Let us pray that our
church our country and the world at large will prune
the dry branches and save our majestic tree Let us
pray for the conversion of the leaders of these majestic

With all that is going on in our world today we
must reflect on how we can be an instrument of
Gods peace to society As Christians we are
pro-life and that includes all life from conception
to natural death Life is a gift given to us by God
and is precious in his sight so it must be treated
as such by us as well The Church is one and
includes all nations Christ teaches us we are
neighbors to people far beyond those directly
around us including the unborn people of
different races social classes even political views Through
love we must seek to see Christ in the people around us and to
love and serve Him by loving and serving all people We cannot
claim to be a Christian when we cannot see Christ in the people
around us Once we recognize Christ in our neighbor it is then
impossible for hate to have a place in our lives Today let us
allow the love of Christ to dwell within us and seek to be a
source of peace and unity for a world so horribly divided Let
us heal the wounds of sin and division with the grace and power
that can only come from our Triune God
Mary Mother of us all pray for us and lead us to Christ our

Are our problems over No Not in the Church nor in
our country For a long time in our country many dry
branches including racism lack of respect love care
recognition of abilities have been hidden under green
leaves And the destruction is becoming great
Speaking and working toward resolution can cause
a lot of pain But if we are frightened of the pain of
pruning the dry branches healing will not take place
As we celebrate the feast of the Holy Trinity this
weekend we need to think about the perfect unity the
Father Son and Holy Spirit have Let us pray that our
church our country and the world at large will prune
the dry branches and save our majestic tree Let us
pray for the conversion of the leaders of these majestic
trees that they open their eyes to safeguard the greater
good and dignity of every individual

Are our problems over No Not in the Church nor in
our country For a long time in our country many dry
