What is it all about?
Cornwall Council wish to use grant funding from the Department of Local Communities and Government (DCLG) to encourage Town and Parish Councils to apply to run campaigns to reduce household waste at source. Offering start up grants and rewarding successful campaigns based on how much waste is reduced.

Who can take part?
• Any town or parish council who are not part of the plastic pots tubs and trays trial.
• Local environmental groups can work with town and parish councils on projects.

How can we get involved?
• Return the expression of interest form by 9 October 2015.
• CC will send out an application pack.• Applications to be returned by 7
November. • Selection panel will make the award.• We hope that 6 applications will be
chosen.
