Sunday 1st September 10.30am Harvest Festival at St James’, Marden AshThe congregations of St James’ and All Saints’, Norton Mandeville will be joining together to celebrate this fruitful season. Do come and join us! Donations of food or money for the Harlow Foodbank can be brought along.

*** SAVE THE DATE*** High Ongar Village Christmas Event at St Mary’s, 11.00am - 4.00pm Saturday 30th November – Christmas crafts, gifts, food, demonstrations, fun and games and the switching on of the High Ongar Christmas Lights – an event for all the Community, families and friends.
Morning Prayer across the ParishYou are invited to spend some time in prayer and reading the Scriptures during a short act of worship from 9.00am to 9.20am - Mondays at St James', Tuesdays at All Saints’ and Saturday at St Mary's. All are welcome.

Regular activities in the parish…Homegroups: Meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Friday mornings. Please ask Stewart if you are interested in finding out more.
Prayer Breakfasts: are held monthly (1st Saturday) in St Mary’s Church from 9-10am to pray for the parish, our nation and the wider world.
Coffee & Conversation: a weekly opportunity for the ladies to join together for friendship and fellowship. They meet in the King’s Head in Ongar High Street from 10.30am every Thursday. No need to book, just turn up.
Friendly Circle: a monthly opportunity to gather together, sing some of the old hymns, hear an inspiring word and meet some interesting people.Every second Wednesday in the month, 2.30pm at St James’.
Harmony Bible Club: a weekly (Tuesdays) lunchtime club for pupils from High Ongar Primary School during school term time.
Help needed – We need people to help with our first Sunday of the month Reflective and All –age services. Tasks could be making refreshments, welcoming, helping with craft activities, leading small parts of the service, leading prayers or taking part in sketches. Please speak to Stewart if you would like to volunteer. Many thanks.
