Welcome to First Baptist Church
Welcome to First Baptist Church of Clemson. We are so pleased that you are part of our congregation today.
We worship God as revealed in Jesus Christ and seek to provide our people both a sense of identity and belonging and a sense of direction and mission. We hope you will consider making First Baptist Clemson your church home.
As a family of Christian believers, this Church receives as new members all those professing faith in Christ and requesting baptism by immersion. This Church also receives members by transfer of letter from another church or by statement of previous membership in another church providing membership in that church required profession of faith in Christ and baptism in some form. Members may be received at any scheduled worship service.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP
4 year Olds through 2nd Grade
In the Children's Chapel (room #103/104), the children are learning about
elements of worship. Today's Bible lesson is The Forgiving King (Matthew 18:21-
35). Jesus tells us this story: Once there was a man who worked for a king. The
man asked the king for a lot of money, but promised to pay it all back. When the
king asked the man for the money back, the man didn't have it. The king was
going to sell everything the man owned, but instead, the king decided to forgive
the man. Later, the man ran into one of his friends who had borrowed a little
money from him. The man demanded his friend to pay back the money immedi-
ately. His friend did not have the money, so the man put him in jail. The king for-
gave the man for all the money he owed, but in turn, the man did not forgive his
friend for the small amount he owed. Jesus explains that God is like the king--God
forgives you a lot, so God wants you to always forgive other people. Our Bible
verse for today is "Be kind to everyone" 2 Timothy 2:24(NCV).
As one of CBF's field personnel, Brenda Lisenby works with Angel House
Rehabilitation & Education Center in Guangxi Province along China’s southern
border. Angel House is one of the few schools in the country designed specifically
to serve children with cerebral palsy.
WMU LUNCHEON – FEBRUARY 11 AT 11:30 AM
WMU will host a mission luncheon on Monday, February 11 at 11:30 in the
Family Life Center. Our featured speaker will be Shelley Thomas, Coordinator of
Healthy Learners of Allendale County. Healthy Learners began in 2005 and
serves financially disadvantaged elementary, middle, and high school students
who are either uninsured or underinsured. Transportation to and from school to
appointments is a unique and vital link to the successes of the Healthy Learner
program. CBF has also worked with Healthy Learners in its work in Allendale.
Please plan to join us and bring a friend. The cost of our meal will be $8 and
prepared by our church chef/host.
