Period 6 sessions are timetabled for some KS4 & KS5 students. Year 10 & 11 will be expected to attend
intervention sessions in the run up to exams. Parents will be advised of this in advance.
After school activities will take place on both sites. All activities finish by 17.00.
The ACS day ends at 3.10 for most students and it is the expectation that ALL students will go straight home
unless they engaging in an extra curricular activity.

• Every child must have a reading book with them everyday. This can be kept in their bag.
• Ensure that they are organised and equipped for each lesson.
• Wear their Alperton uniform correctly. They are representing the school community

Negative behaviour – De-merits
Students may be given behaviour points for the following:• Incorrect uniform• Chewing gum/respecting the
new building• Lack of home learning• Late to lessons• Lack of equipment• Mobile phones

• Student leave is only permitted in exceptional circumstances
• We do not allow families to take holidays during term time
• Any request for student leave (exceptional circumstances) during term time must be made in person to the Headteacher at Parents Surgery.
• Headteacher Surgeries are held between 4pm to 5:30pm every Friday afternoon during term times.
• Parents must not make travel arrangements unless leave has been approved by the Headteacher.
• Children taken out of school for periods of unauthorised absence are at risk of losing their place at the school. The school will also fine parents through Brent if unauthorised leave is taken.
