Forged Steel (Schedule 40) WeldoletTM Forged Steel (Class 3000) Thredolet
WeldoletTM & ThredoletTM fi ttings are used to create branch connections in lengths of pipe. They eliminate the need to place bulkier welded or threaded tee's in line and they're more fl exible than a tee, simply run your pipe then weld fi ttings on! Typically WeldoletTM & ThredoletTM
fi ttings will cost less and reduce installation time over tee fi ttings. They are manufactured in accordance to the requirements of the ASME B16.9 standard for steel butt-welded fi ttings and they meet the 2001 edition of MSS-SP-97 standard for integrally reinforced forged branch outlet fi ttings. To view full range of outlet sizes visit new-line.com.Our N297BW series WeldoletTM fi ttings are standard schedule 40, however, are available in extra heavy schedule 80 & schedule 160. Our N297TH series ThredoletTM fi ttings are supplied class 3000 forged steel, however, are available in class 6000 upon request.

Butt Weld fi ttings are defi ned in ASME spec B16.9. They have a bevelled end that is butt joined to hard pipe or pipelines. As compared to a Socket Weld, Butt Weld is the "best" in terms of larger bore strength, fatigue, corrosion resistance, and temperatures. However, it is more diffi cult to line up and weld properly as compared to Socket Welds, needing skilled welders and more time, testing, etc. Normally the price of Butt Weld fi ttings is less than Socket Weld, but the extra time and cost of Butt Weld is higher for installation. We stock a limited range of Butt Weld and Socket Weld pipe fi ttings for small projects related to our hose and fi tting options.Material Suffi x: BI Black Steel; AL Aluminum; SS Sch 40 SS316; SL316 Sch 10 SS316; SS304 Sch 40 SS304
