Ambition for Ageing
Age UK Oldham and Action Together have received a lottery grant to look at ways of making communities more ‘age friendly’. Our vision is to connect communities and people and create places where people live fulfilling lives as we age.
The Ambition for Ageing programme aims to work with communities to create more age friendly places to grow older in, help people be better connected and less isolated. It is aimed at people aged 50 and over and is being piloted across Alexandra, Crompton and Failsworth West wards in Oldham. To learn more visit: www.ageuk.org.uk/oldham/ambitionforageing or contact Martin Morris on 0161 339 2345 or email: [email protected]
We are always looking for people to become more involved with Ambition for Ageing
Oldham. We are looking for:
People who want to start up a new activity that could help reduce isolation and
loneliness
New volunteers
Failsworth West Ambition for Ageing Steering Group members
Greater Manchester Equality Group and Older People’s Network members.
If you would like to support us and get involved please contact Martin Morris for
