The circus is coming to town! We hope everyone can carve out time from their very busy May schedules to attend the Kent Family Magic Circus on the 12
th. The
show will be held at Madison Southern High School and will begin at 4 in the afternoon. The Chamber is thankful for the Kent family’s efforts to help us raise funds for the scholar- ship program. The scholarship committee has been meeting and will soon announce the win- ners of this year’s scholarships, one student from Berea Community High School and one from Madison Southern.
Deadline for applications is Friday, May 4. Please encourage any gradu-ating senior from either of the local high schools to apply. Children and grandchildren of Chamber members are especially welcome. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Coffee and Networking at Morning Pointe in Richmond on Tuesday the 8th and you will want to purchase your tickets for the State of the County address on May 18th, which is a joint meeting with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce. All you golfers make plans now for the Chamber’s 26
th annual golfing
event. It will be held on the Battlefield course on Friday, June 22. Happy Mother’s Day, Graduation, beginning of summer vacation and whatever else you have going on this month! Blessings,
Teresa
