Writing this on a Thursday as we await a pretty threatening weather forecast. Be prepared for winter weather emergencies by keeping your contact information up to date. And please always have your children dressed for the conditions, included those that sneak up during the day.
Just in time to take the chill away, we're looking forward to our 4th Annual Chili Challenge. Join us on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 6-7:30 P.M. in the multi-purpose room for food and fun. Read more about it deeper in this newsletter. Again this year, you can enter your favorite chili recipe and your student can participate in the mac 'n' cheese challenge. We welcome those who compete and those who just want to eat!
We have been teaching about Dr. King, Jr. and will have a special presentation during Morning Broadcast to honor his memory.
Hope you can support our P.T.O. at next Wednesday's Dine-Out night at Hot Box Pizza. Watch for the flyer and have a no-cooking night to help this great group. And stay cozy this weekend!

We recently had guest instructors from Hoosier Futbol Club. The instructors were amazing with the students and the students were very enthusiastic about learning from them. For more information about the Hoosier Futbol Club, please see their flyer in this newsletter or go to their website at: www.hoosierfc.org
Next week, we will be hosting instructors from Master Yoo's World Class Tae Kwon Do. More information about this program will be sent home next week. Students will have the opportunity to sign up for an after-school program during the week of Jan. 29.

Parisi Press:
WOW!! How is it possible that 2017 is coming to an
end?! We all say it, right? Time passes by quickly for
sure and the holiday seasons can either push us over the
edge a bit or it can cause us to slow down and
appreciate those around us. As I reflect on the school
year, I can't help but be thankful for your children, our
staff, and the amazing families we have at WWES. The
smiling faces we greet each morning bring us such great
cheer throughout the day. I hope you all have a wonder-
ful winter break and I look forward to seeing everyone in 2018!
