The PDI provides Kuwai students on F‐1 visas in the United States with a well‐targeted, year‐long Oponal Praccal Training (OPT) opportunity to work with aU.S. instuon before returning home.
The PDI includes:
Leadership training, led by experts in the field, before you begin work andmonthly throughout the PDI term;Assistance with work documentaon paperwork;Coaching for interview preparaon;A candidate profile made especially for you;The idenficaon of leading U.S. firms relevant to your degree and interests;Outreach to U.S. companies on your behalf;Negoaon of job offers with U.S. host companies on your behalf;Job placement with a U.S. firm matching your skills and interests; and

The PDI is administered by three program partners: the Kuwait Cultural Officeof the Embassy of the State of Kuwait (which represents the Ministry of HigherEducaon), the Kuwait Foundaon for the Advancement of Sciences, and theNaonal U.S.‐Arab Chamber of Commerce. These PDI program partners willidenfy prospecve PDI applicants, screen these applicants, and name the finalistsin this highly compeve program. NUSACC will match up these finalists, based ondegree, skills, and interests, with appropriate host companies in the United States.
