The Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO) is a not-
for-profit society that was formed to fulfil this need.
The primary objective of CAHO is to promote collaboration among
accredited hospitals (NABH, JCI etc) and laboratories (NABL to initiate
efforts to improve healthcare quality and to work closely with NABH and
NABL.
With a growing number of healthcare organizations achieving NABH,
NABL and JCI accreditation, there has been a need for a common
platform that will facilitate communication amongst the accredited HCOs,
share best practices, and provide benchmarking, while promoting and
continuously improving the quality and safety of healthcare services
provided by the HCOs across India, in collaboration with all stakeholders.
CAHO will be organize a CAHOCON - 2017, 3rd International Conference
of Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO) which will
be held from April 14 - 15, 2017 in Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka, New Delhi.
CAHOCON is an annual conference to engage with all stakeholders in
healthcare delivery system. Theme of this conference is "Monitor,
Measure and Improve".
This time CAHOCON 2017 invite nominations and applications from outstanding professionals who have pushed the bar of healthcare quality through personal initiative, and have made an impact in their organizations / region / state or country for “Young Achiever Award 2017 in India” aims to recognize outstanding initiatives and achievements of professionals who are working in or have contributed to the sphere of healthcare quality. Age limit is up to 50 years.
The award committee received 25 applications for “Young Achiever Award
2017 in India” from Corporate and Government Health Sector and they
scrutinized each applicant on the basis of their achievements and impact in
the area of healthcare quality.
