Membership Fees

The fee for membership in Downtown Indiana is based on number of employees for businesses and annual budget for nonprofits. We also have residential memberships. Currently, Downtown Indiana is working toward reauthorization of the BID or Business Improvement District, which expired in 2016. A BID is a resource development tool created by the state legislature that allows property owners in a defined area to organize and manage revitalization efforts on their own. If the BID is reauthorized, property owners within the district will automatically receive membership and any previously paid membership fees will be credited toward their assessments. Business owners leasing space within the district will continue to be offered membership through our membership program.
