POSTOLO POINT OF SALES (POS) FOR POST OFFICES

POSTOLO POS is a new generation point of sales system. POSTOLO brings the customer:

• Centralized working place for post officers supporting all post office operations• Access to all post office transactions via touch-screen• On-line support with data storage in central database • Off-line support with synchronization to central database

This is also achieved by the experienced development team which has 10+ years of experience with postal systems’ development. Therefore, the client-supplier history is mutually rich. Various POSTOLO POS operations are supported from a centralized working place application:

POSTOLO POS includes tools for data input facilitation. Every post office has letters, packages and other parcels going through. All necessary information about the mailings can be scanned and acquired by integrated barcode reader, card reader, object recognition, stamp value determination and weights.

POSTOLO POST BANKING SYSTEM (PBS)

POSTOLO PBS is a new generation postal banking system. The functionality provided is:

• Client account management• Money transfers• Payment cards• Integrated with POSTOLO POS• Internet banking• Money laundering monitoring

Products core functionality includes:

• Account management – PBS account administration as well as reporting services regarding PBS account balance and client information.

• Direct debit payments – customer delegates bill payments. Monthly bill payments are sent directly to POSTOLO PBS and then PBS pays the bills from client accounts.

• Cash payments and withdrawals – payments and billing in cash withdrawal and deposit as well as transfer between PBS accounts and transactions to other credit institutions.

• Regular payments – predefined payments bound with PBS account initiated on specific time or triggered by a specific operation.

• Public utilities payments – public utilities payment processing.• Money transfers to PBS account or address, or any bank.

The POSTOLO PBS system is built to enable a Back Office user access to PBS services. The Back Office management application provides access to specific back office functionality regarding bank-ing services – payments, money transfers, batch processing, etc.

The functionality offered by the Back Office application is:

• Back office order mass processing – bank transfers, cash transfers and other mass payment input lists that is processed by batch processing.

• Offline operation control – off line operation synchronization from POSTOLO POS.• Payment cards issuing – payment card issuing by host bank management.

Other services are included in the POSTOLO PBS – the money laundering monitoring which includes rule engine for defining suspicious operation parameters and reporting mechanism for suspicious operation with all the evidence collected. Besides that there is also reporting and external interfaces which provides an overview of PBS operations, allows payment with host bank information exchange by SWIFT format messages.

POSTOLO PBS is the system that the other POSTOLO solution POS has a direct access to in the online and offline mode (by synchronizing data with the central system). The system also has access from several internet bank interfaces and payment cards issued by PBS.
